Women’s Ministry – Growing with Purpose
As we worked with children, we naturally came closer to their mothers and women in the community. Many women carried heavy burdens , raising children alone, facing poverty, or lacking opportunities to grow. Out of this need, our women’s ministry was born.
We provide encouragement, counseling, and fellowship for women so they can share their struggles and find hope together. We also equip them with training, teaching and practical knowledge that help them support their families. Our vision is to see women rise with confidence, live with dignity, and bring positive change into their homes and society.
Women’s Ministry – Balkhu Fellowship
Every week, our team gathers with women in the Balkhu area, one of the local slum communities. What started as a small group has now become a beautiful time of fellowship, learning, and encouragement. Most of the women we meet are mothers, wives, and caretakers who carry many responsibilities and struggles in their daily lives. We believe that in the midst of these challenges, they deserve a place where they can find hope, joy, and strength.
During our weekly meetings, we share God’s Word through simple Bible teaching that connects with their everyday life. Together we sing action songs, pray for one another, and enjoy small games that bring laughter and lighthearted moments. These activities may seem simple, but they create a safe space where women can express themselves, feel loved, and be uplifted.
Beyond spiritual encouragement, we also focus on motivation and practical guidance so that each woman can grow in confidence and discover her value in Christ. Our vision is not just for women to attend a program, but to be transformed to live with dignity, raise their families with faith, and spread light in their communities.
Week by week, we see lives being touched, friendships being built, and hope being restored in the Balkhu area. Truly, this is more than a ministry it is a family of women learning to grow together with purpose.
Visiting Old Age Homes – Honoring the Elderly with Love
Along with our other ministries, we also visit old age homes from time to time. These visits are always special because many of the elderly people living there long for love, care, and someone to simply spend time with them. Far from their families and daily community life, they often feel lonely and forgotten. We believe it is our responsibility and joy to honor them, listen to them, and remind them of their value.
During our visits, we share food, sing songs, and pray together. We also spend time hearing their life stories, which are full of wisdom and experience. The joy that lights up their faces when we sit and talk with them is priceless. They are so kind, welcoming, and deeply appreciative of even the smallest acts of care.
For us, these visits are more than a program they are a way of showing God’s love in action. We want every elderly person we meet to know that they are not forgotten, but cherished and respected. Each time we go, we come away blessed ourselves, reminded of the importance of honoring the generations that came before us.
